Well, we did it. We started in York, Pennsylvania, walked through the state of Maryland, all the way to Washington D.C. We delivered a stack of thousands of petitions from all across the country to Congressman Platts, who sat down with the 4 of us when we arrived. We had the chance to talk to him, and the news media, about the importance of the issue.

Thank you for your support. I am overwhelmed with the response. I am so thankful that so many other Americans understand what PLAs are doing to American families; and that you are all willing to do something about it, just like I was. We aren’t going to stop now.

We are going to keep the website and Facebook page up, and I ask that you would continue to tell your friends and coworkers about it. Keep signing the petition, and we will make sure that they get to Washington in the future. We’re not going to go away now! This is worth fighting for.
